Day 106 Sunday, June 21st (14 days to go) — We were scheduled to visit The Faroe Islands today but had the port stop cancelled this morning due to high seas which made it difficult for the ship to dock. Thus, we had a sea day. After the early morning announcement, I closed the balcony curtains and we slept until 10am. We met John and Joan for lunch, then this afternoon I met Dave for a cigar in the lounge with John joining us. Later in the afternoon we received calls from The Spa asking if we could change our spa appointments from Monday morning (8am) to this afternoon so we jumped at that opportunity. We had spa credits, so I used mine for a haircut and Jackie had a facial. Tonight it will be a meal in The Grand Dining Room, and we will see if we attend tonight’s performance. We are too tired from the day’s activities……laughing.
Missing the port was a bummer as there are passengers who will miss scratching Denmark off their list of countries visited.
I posted the original Currents below and the second copy of the day’s activities which changed after the port cancellation. Also, I posted three photos of The Faroe Islands taken by LeAnne Bock and posted on the 2026 Oceania Vista World Cruisers page. The second three photos were taken by Jackie as we sailed today in the high seas.

Tomorrow is a sea day before we get to Iceland on Tuesday, June 23rd.
