Day 120 Sunday July 5th (Last day of world cruise) — Sunday was our last day on the ship. We spent the day finishing our packing and having meals with the other three couples that we have become close to on the world cruise. Jackie attended a performance in the evening and got a few photos of two of the cabin staff members, Ivana and Rince. I have added some photos from the Red, White and Blue party the night before plus a few extras from Monday, July 6th and our departure from the ship.

The Vista General Manager Gabriell introducing the ship’s staff members at the evening’s performance.

The cabin’s butler Rince who is from India. We appreciated his help in coordinating parties and dinner reservations. He and the cabin’s first butler Ketan did everything they could to have us enjoy our World Cruise.

Cruise director Peter with Ivana the cabin steward standing behind him. Ivana was just a great individual. We are so glad that we had the opportunity to meet her. I had a blast with her. We will always laugh about me meeting with her in the hall giving her grief and she would open the cabin door and ask Jackie to come save her. 🙂

We saw this card with David and Marta on it and thought that is an excellent idea to have cards printed with your name, address, email and phone number on the back. On the World Cruise we met so many people that you would love to have their contact information but never got it. With these cards if someone would ask you for your contact information you can provide them with this card.

Me and Jackie with Lorna who with her husband are originally from England but have lived in Portugal for over 20 years. Sorry we don’t have Stephen in this photo. A super couple, just a blast of fun and laughter with these two people. We would hope to run into them again one day.

If you read my July 4th blog post, this is Nathan. He is the singer on the entertainment team that the women in our group fell in love with his cologne. He was the person John was supposed to bring back to the group so they could ask him for the name of the cologne. Instead, two photos down is Lucas, the person that John brought back. 🙂

Vista General Manager and the ship’s head Chef during the 4th of July party.

Assistant cruise director Jason. During the cruise he led our behind-the-scenes tour and we enjoyed the chance to meet him. If you followed the blog, you saw I would wear a skull cap for sun protection and every time he saw me, he would say “Hulk Hogan” 🙂

The ship’s cruise director Peter Robert

This is Barbara. We met her on the Riviera three years ago on a cruise in Japan. When I saw her on the Vista I told Jackie I recognize her but could not remember from what cruise. So, for the first few days she would also look at me and had the same thought that I had. Finally, after a week we asked one another and immediately figured out when we had previously crossed. Barbara is from Italy and has moved up with a couple of promotions and is now a dining supervisor and handles the restaurant Privee.

If you scan the QR code below it should provide you with a copy of every Current from the world cruise but only for the 120 days that we were on starting in San Diego.

In Miami getting ready to disembark the ship. One of us looks happy 🙂
