We received notice that because of the issues in the Middle East our itinerary was changed. We were given a 10% discount on a future cruise because of the change. While we are certainly disappointed in missing the Middle East and India, we remember that we are on a world cruise, so it is hard to be too disappointed. In reading through various posts on social media that passengers who had segments cancelled (Singapore to Dubai and Dubai to Barcelona) received a chance to jump on different segments and also received a 30% FCC, but I have not been able to confirm this. Personally, I would take an internet system that works over a future cruise credit. š

On the left is the original itinerary and on the right is the new itinerary. A positive is giving us the opportunity to see South Africa. The negative is the increase in sea days from 15 to 23 for the period of May 1 – June 14. Another possible negative is Oceania had an overnight party or excursion scheduled for Bordeaux France. It has not been announced if there will be a replacement. There are not many overnights so the guess right now is this will not be replaced.

This is how the new World Cruise map looks

The new world cruise itinerary which was located on the back of the above map

These are the new excursions being offered for the eastern side of Africa and South Africa. You have to select the excursions you want and submit to the Destinations Desk. My guess is that we will receive notification in a few days if our choices were accepted.

This was provided to us the next day. It is a list of overland tours being offered. We are hoping to be approved for the Chobe and Victoria Falls Overland Tour.

Our magnetic calendar coming to an end and needs to be updated for April.

Sorry about the changes in your itinerary. Iām sure both of you will have good attitudes about it. Bill & I wish you all the best!
You know how it is when you travel. It is never 100% exactly like you want, but like I posted, we are on a world cruise so hard to complain. And, there is always a next time š
Great info. Thanks!
I thought the 2027 passengers might be interested learning how the overland tours were sent out to the 2026 passengers
Wow. Oceania is offering you some fantastic overlands for the African safaris. Best thing about going to Africa – the opportunity to go on these amazing overlands.
I am 100% in agreement with you. Now we sit with fingers crossed that the overland we can get the overland tour that we wanted. Announcement today that many overland exursions are still available for Africa, so maybe we have a chance.
