Day 105 Saturday June 20th (15 days to go) — Today was a much-needed sea day as we had six consecutive days of touring in France and the United Kingdom. We did a wine tasting in the afternoon and then in the evening had dinner at Toscano, the Italian Specialty Restaurant before attending a Beatles Tribute Performance by a band called Just John and Paul, which was really great. In the copy of The Currents you will read about Mike Reiss, who is on the ship to speak in the Speaker Series. In Belfast when we did the private tour which I posted abot, Mike and his wife were on the tour with us. We spoke about The Simpsons show but we did not realize he was The Producer of The Simpsons. We were more interested is speaking to him about his journey to the bottom of the ocean to view the wreckage of The Titanic. He rode in The Titan which later imploded on an excursion like he had taken.

The last photo is our cabin door which contains magnets from our port stops. Sadly, we did not start collecting the magnets from the very beginning of The World Cruise. Passengers have commented on our magnets with many saying they use our cabin door to determine which direction they have to go when they get out the elevator. 🙂
